The Station Museum is very pleased to present this summer, in partnership with the centennial committee, the Centennial Tavern! Also project partners: the Abitibi-Témiscamingue Museum Network, the Cultural Commission of the MRC du Témiscamingue and the Quebec Ministry of Cultures and Communications!

An innovative and inspiring project that will boost the tourist offer in Témiscaming throughout the summer, the Centennial Terrace, is an ephemeral terrace that welcomes music groups and other performing artists throughout the summer, behind the Station Museum, on the edge of Gordon Creek!

The concept, inspired by the initiatives of the Emerging Music Festival of Rouyn-Noranda, is a gathering place with the objective of fostering encounters with the people we love to have good times with them, over a good drink, listening to shows in a relaxed atmosphere.

At the Centennial Terrace, you can attend free concerts, dance to the sounds of the best DJs in the region, as well as participate in other activities, both sporting and cultural, organized by the community! In addition, spectators will be able to eat well thanks to a local food truck, La Boîte à Lunch, which will be present Tuesday to Friday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., and sometimes longer during events. It will also be possible to enjoy iced coffees and homemade juices prepared at the Museum's Café Irwin, as well as regional wines and beers.

On days when there is no show, we hope that the terrace will be used by visitors and people from the community, who can attend any activity there, whether it is yoga, reading, for lunch or even just to take advantage of this rest area.

It's a date at the Museum's new terrace!
